The Alpha Crew** Project Description: The Alpha Crew is an AI-powered analyst team, built with CrewAI, FriendliAI, and Weaviate, that performs hybrid stock analysis to help investors find their market alpha. In a world of financial data overload, our system simplifies complexity by turning scattered information into a decisive, trustworthy investment brief. Our solution tackles this challenge by deploying a collaborative team of specialized AI agents: * Quant Analyst agent fetches real-time financial metrics and key performance indicators. * Qualitative Researcher agent uncovers the narrative behind the numbers. The heart of this agent's capability is Weaviate, which serves as the crew's long-term memory. We use it to build a powerful Agentic RAG system, allowing our agent to query unstructured text from news articles and reports to ground its analysis in verifiable facts and extract nuanced insights. The entire system is orchestrated by CrewAI, with the advanced reasoning for each agent powered by FriendliAI's inference engine. The lead agent then synthesizes these distinct data streams into a single, actionable report, embodying the hackathon's theme of moving from prompt to portfolio.
